WHO

By design, the B2VT Ride is not for everyone. This ride is for cyclists who are physically and mentally tough, excel in the face of challenges, abide by the rules of the road, and can ride 149 miles with over 8,000 feet of climbing in one day at an average pace of 16 mph or faster. The B2VT ride is not for novice cyclists. It is one of the most challenging bike rides in New England and if you sign up, you are expected to finish within the allotted time frame.  We do not offer sag wagon service to the finish; you must finish on your own. 

TWO OPTIONS

Due to the length of the ride we are pleased to offer riders two options in 2020.

  • 149 miles - the full B2VT

  • 113 miles - riders are transported to rest stop #1and ride from there

HOW

Registration for the 2020 ride for all returning alumni riders will open on Friday, December 20, 2019.  General registration will open on Saturday, January 20, 2020.

COST

$259 ride fee + service charge (from the registration processing company)

Optional additional $50 for rider, bike and gear transport from the finish back to the starting line in Bedford, MA or you can elect to stay overnight at the finish for a special package rate.  You have the option of a Saturday evening bus or spend the night and come down on Sunday morning (9:00 am departure)

Your ride fee includes:

  • Massive quantities of (your own) blood, sweat, and tears

  • 2020 commemorative bike jersey

  • Transportation for your gear from the start to the finish

  • Ride Support from Cycle Loft, neutral road support, and B2VT road crew

  • 4 fully stocked rest stops

  • Shower facilities at finish line

  • 2 Pints of refreshing beer

  • Rider dinner and party (additional BBQ tickets are available for purchase for friends and family)

  • Finisher T-shirt

Optional (extra fees apply):

  • Return bus transportation for you and your bike/gear (via truck) back to the starting point

  • Special package rate for rider and family/friends for overnight stay at the finish venue.
